What types of flowers do you grow?

I aim to grow flowers that are good for cutting, grow well in my growing zone, and generally have showy colors or blooms. With limited space I tend to change up what I grow from seed each year, but always grow some varieties of zinnias, strawflowers, celosia and dahlias which dominate my growing space.

When are flowers available?

With no greenhouses currently, I work with the seasons as they come. Dahlias are my favorite flower to grow, so my production peaks during their season which is generally August through frost.

Additionally I am increasing my production of dried flowers to keep the flowers coming even after the frost!

Do you provide event florals?

Yes! Pete's Petals would be happy to provide you with custom arrangements, bunches or DIY buckets for your next event. Please keep in mind, I work within the seasons and grow locally, so specific flower variety and color requests may not always be possible. If you already have a florist you want to work with, you can ask them to source local and mention Pete's Petals! Please fill out the contact form below if you are interested in event florals from Pete's Petals.
